teapot island
over the weekend i cycled with my dad to a place called teapot island
there are a lot of teapots, but it's an island in a river so there's a weir for boats

hiding objects
this one is kind of cheating, because zach took it. but i told him too so it still sort of counts.
to make up for cheating, here is one i did take of a creepy owl
i like that both these things are hiding. i'd never seen the owl before even though i'd lived across the street for 8-ish months. and overgrown signs are fun.

new start
i have decided to make this a photo blog. a simple collection. that means i don't have to come up with anything to say, or if i want to, it can be super corny. we'll see where it goes.
now to start off:
the last discovery shuttle to go into orbit, from the viewing station. (the orange tip is all you can see)
i took a photo of it actually taking off, from a nearby-ish beach, but the photo-developing people decided that particular photo of the sky was not something i really wanted and threw it away, despite there being a clear completely-vertical line of exhausts center frame. i'll just have to remember it with my mind.
